At this stage in Outdoor Voices we were focused on building out our core foundational line, and establishing our design language through a unique perspective on color and print.

I wanted to build upon our base we had set with tonal blocking in grey’s and neutrals, with color. I referenced the concept of layered transparency as a way to create unique color combinations, and embody the idea of color mixing within tonal blocking in a single garment. The system I built for this season has been the foundation for Outdoor Voices approach to color, and color flow, move forward.
